"Conditioning" your eyelashes?

I thought I had heard of every way to spend money on beauty products until I heard of a product claiming to give moisture and strength to your eyelashes? It's like 125 dollars. I've seen some cheaper versions going for 12 (about). What is up with this, and is it really necessary?

hmm you know honestly i personally dont believe that kind of stuff…
i read in either allure or one of those magazines that you can actually use eucerine aquaphor to condition your lashes. it has lanolin in it with softens them and conditions them and its cheaper than even $12!!!
i use it once in a while in my lashes… but i mainly use it for my lips. i definitely recommend that instead.
the only real thing i have heard about growing and strengthening your lashes is with latisse *sp?* that is actually real and only available by perscription.
but yeah for 125 dollars girl ~ buy yourself a nice purse or for your own personal shopping spree.
