Is nail polish bad for your nails?

I love to put on nail polish often. I was just wondering if it harms your nails. Please answer! Thanks!

not any worse then breathing the air outside.
just give your nails a rest period between re-doing the color to give your nails a breather
if you still scared swtich over to all natural nail polish
like priti polish or go to whole foods market
