I've been looking for a good foundation and powder for a while. I have tried a lot of drugstore brands, but none of them worked for me. So I decided to save up some money to buy some better makeup. So I have heard that Clinique and Mac have some really good foundations. Which of these 2 brands do you suggest getting?
Oh, I'm going to be 14 next month and I have sensitive, combination, acne prone skin. I prefer liquid foundations because powder ones make me look chalky especially since it's winter right now. Oh, and I'm looking for something that looks very natural.

I really like the clinique gel eyeliner I have, but its annoying to have to get out the brush and clean it everyday. Also, I seem to mess up the top eye a lot since it can be quite hard to get a thin line. So, I'm looking for a new eyeliner that is easy to work with everyday. I'm looking at MAC because my friend uses them and I've heard they have good liner. Any suggestions?

I have the liquid liner and the wood pencil. I love them both! I suggest you start off with black as a basic color then start collecting the other colors.

Never gotten my makeup done at a place… Has anyone ever gotten their makeup done at the Clinique counter? Did they do a good job? Do you tell them like how you want it.. or do they kind of ask you some questions and do what they think will look good?

Clinique does a great job! You have totally picked the right place to go. I completely agree with the first person that they are the best place to go! They will probably ask questions like, "do you wear makeup eyeryday?" and if you do they might ask, "do you wear a lot or do you go for a natural look." I said I wear mascara, blush, lipgloss and pink eyeshadow unless it's a special ocasion. (It is fine if you do wear makeup, they will do a great job either way!) If you want them to do something special on you, it is fine to ask. My friend asked for a smokey eye and looked georgous! (I'm fair skinned, so I know I wouldn't want one LOL!) If you want to you can ask if the Clinique makeup people can make your makeup casual/fancy depending on what you're looking for. But they will pick colors that fit you perfectly. Another one of my friends never wears makeup and with a little bit of mascara and blue eyeshadow, she looked so good!

P.S. Though they do a great job, they are a little pricey. Shop there if you would like to spend the money but, remember you can always take thier really good makeup advice and find the same thing in a drugstore for 4$ eyeshadow compared to a 17.5$ eyeshadow. So, only come back to buy if you are positive thier are no other simmular products of good quality. (Some drugstore quality actually is really bad but maybeline mascara is good and so is loreal eyeshadow, blush and lip gloss. Many other drugstore brands are good too.)

Remember it is still completely worth getting your makeup done. Best of luck. (:

I want a foundation that gives that dewy look and clinque is the one brand that doesnt breakout my skin! I looked at reviews on this product but there all from ages 25 and older! Haha im only 16, so can i use this product? Anyone use it? Does it give the dewy look!? (:

Theres so many! have any of you tried them and which one do you like best? I have pretty normal skin, it might get SLIGHTLY oily in the tee zone and a little dry in the cheeks but for the most part its very normal.. I just want moderate- full natural looking coverage. I'm not too picky

I currently am using Superfit and I find it to be VERY watery. When it goes on my face, I feel like I'm just putting water on my face. It's like non existent unless I use a lot of the product. Could it be that I just got a bad bottle? :/

I think you got a bad bottle. I read some reviews on makeupalley.com and i haven't come across any that said it was really watery

Yeah I would go back and say that you think you got a bad bottle and show them, they should give you a new one :] I think I'm gonna try super fit today so if I get it I hope its not watery!
