I have the eyelashes that you get after applying mascara, naturally… But why do people want "big" eyelashes… do they make your eyes look smaller/bigger? I don't get it… what's the point?

There's a lot of reasons. The main ones are that it makes the eyes look more open and awake, they frame the eyes, and they tend to make them look more flirty and seductuve. You're very lucky you have that naturally — the rest of us spend hundreds of dollars a year trying to have it.

Talc is literally baby powder, it's used to absorb moisture. it's very common in powders.
I am a huge fan of clinique! I've used all their stuff for years, there's times I could sell the products to to the counter staff!
So clinique do powders to suit all skin types with no harsh chemicals it's suitable for the most sensitive of skins. They do a pressed powder, superbalance pressed powder it's for oily t zones and dry cheeks, most of us have this, I'm not 100% sure if clinique don't have it in their powders but if they do it's not a cheapy one. Go to the counter they will be able to help you, but as long as you don'ty put powder on directly to your skin ie without foundation it wont dry it out. Powder is used to set foundation to make it last longer.

Sephora does not ship to the UK.

There is a Sephora in Paris, so lots of girls get the ferry from Dover (or train from St. Pancras) over & make a day trip of it. Its not that expensive! Either that or make friends with someone in the US.

I have a friend who is only 20 but has huge crows feet when she smiles. She has acne problems so has probably worn a lot of makeup for a long time. Also I put a mineral powder under my eyes to conceal dark circles and I'm notice fine lines already. It feels dried out. I've put vaseline on it just to moisten it but does anyone have any imput on this? thanks!

Yes, makeup does prematurely age your skin. But it won't have a big effect if you wash and MOISTURIZE your face before bed. Do NOT sleep with makeup ever! If your friend smiles and has crow's feet, those are laugh lines, everyone has them when they smile. (: If they're there when she's not smiling, then they're wrinkles. When you exfoliate (don't exfoliate too much, just once every 3 days or you'll ruin your face's oil balance and get really oily skin), use a honey, sugar and olive oil scrub. 3 tsp of EXTRA VIRGIN (very important that it's extra virgin because it's the only oil that won't clog your pores) olive oil, 2 tsp of honey, and some sugar. Keep this in a lidded container, it will last a while. This scrub not only removes dead skin cells, but it really hydrates your skin for those annoying winter dry times. Invest in a good, rich, concentrated face moisturizer. I'm using nutrimetics concentrated face creme. Always moisturize. It helps your makeup go on much better, and is good to keep the balance of extra sebum (oil) on your face.

I bought Kat Von D liquid eyeliner from sephora and when I put it on the bottom of my eye it burns. After a little while its fine. My old l'oreal liquid eyeliner did not do this. What does this mean?

allegy, or maybe its just stronger than the loreal, ive had experience with eyeliners burmer but its usually because there cheap and nasty which the one your describing won't be. if u need to use it use minimal!
