Yeast Infection Symptoms

Most people, especially women, suffer from yeast infections at some point of time. While some of the symptoms are obvious, it needs proper understanding and knowledge to discern others. Hence, it is imperative to be enlightened about them in order to take the necessary precautionary measures and treatments. The symptoms of yeast infections vary in their nature and intensity.
Although women are particularly prone to suffer from yeast infection, the manifestations of which take place in the form of vaginal thrush, both men and women can be affected by it. Yeast infection, also known as candidosis, is a fungal infection and is generally caused by Candida albicans.
The most common yeast infection symptoms are mostly superficial with localized complications of itching, minor swelling with redness on the skin. Oral yeast infection symptoms may occur as white colored patches in the tongue, palates and gums inside the mouth.
Itching and burning sensation in the vagina and the vulva area is the primary symptoms of vaginal yeast infection. There can also be a white discharge, which looks like cottage cheese. It may be light-yellow to colorless. Generally, it is odorless, but in some cases, there might be a smell of baking bread. Other associated symptoms may include itching in anus, swelling and redness in the vulva, nausea, vomiting, burning sensation with pain in the pelvic region, while passing urine and pain in the vagina during sexual intercourse.
Pregnant women are particularly prone to develop vaginal yeast infection during pregnancy. While there is no real danger of the fetus being affected by it, still it becomes an irritating problem during such important period. Women generally develop it during the second and third trimester. The baby might develop yeast infection in the mouth if the woman is infected with vaginal infection during the birth. And later during breast feeding, the infection may pass onto the breasts during breast-feeding.
Vaginal yeast infection symptoms differ from the symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases like genital herpes. It should also be not confused with urinary tract infections, where unlike the vagina, the urinary tract is affected. Remember, in case of vaginal yeast infections, there is no blood or mucus in the urine.
Like women, men may also be the victim of yeast infection. There is burning and itching in the penis. Minor inflammation and swelling with redness may also be there. Occasionally, blisters may also develop. There may also be an odor. The itching and rashness that do not go away easily after cleaning may be due to yeast infection. Yeast infection can also cause pain during sex. Sometimes, even sexual dysfunction may have its origin in yeast infection. Some physicians opine that some of the common problems like feeling of tiredness, arthritis, constipation and depression can also be related to yeast infection. Generally, men are affected by it through their partners.
Menstrual Bloating

If you feel restless, irritated and painful during menstruation then that is exactly what menstrual bloating is all about. It is caused due to gas that gets accumulated in the intestines and during menstruation it becomes very frequent and common. Therefore eating a lot of fiber food and giving your body the necessary amount of fluid it requires would help in preventing constipation which makes the pain even more worse. Suffering from menstrual bloating is like a way to live for women cramps during this period is bound to happen.
The scientific reason for its occurrence is that as menstruation is what a women faces every month so due to this the lining of her uterus produces a chemical that is known as Prostaglandins, this leads to the contraction of the walls of the uterine muscles and therefore a tissue is released along with fluid which is the cause of menstruation. When the chemical called Prostaglandins is produced in huge amount then that leads to excessive contraction of the muscles and therefore causes bloating.
The notion that every woman has to face bloating during menstruation is wrong, it is not mandatory to occur you can avoid it by taking the necessary precautions. Check your diet by avoiding salty and friend junk food which would lead to cramps. Consume lots of vegetables and fruits, avoid milk products. eat fish, chicken but tied having them grilled rather than deep frying them. Take adequate amount of vitamin doses as this is very beneficial in reducing cramps during menstruation. Along with vitamin capsules every women should take some amount of calcium doses to keep her system fit.
Avoid having caffeine, too much of tea or coffee is bad for you. Even those who eat chocolate in some form everyday should check their consumption. The large amounts of caffeine would lead to excessive bloating in the intestine which would result in pain in the lower abdomen during menstruation. Coffee contains some amount of oils which also can cause crams? and cause gas getting accumulated in the lower abdomen.
A proper life style in one way is the remedy for all the sickness in the world. Many women are addicted to drinking alcohol, too much of it is not good for them and during menstruation it is advisable to stay away from these drinks.
The main reason that results in bloating is due to the retention of the body fluid in our body which is again caused by the changing nature of the hormones present in our body. Many women gain weight during menstruation or it is also seen that some part of the body are swollen?now this is due to the retention of water in the body; the weight gain is actually the weight of water. Exercise is a good solution to check menstruation cramps.
Pre-menstrual bloating is also common and it also occurs due to the above reasons. One should also control her smoking habits in order to avoid?bloating during menstruation. If the above mentioned steps are taken then bloating during menstruation can be checked.
