Can anyone recommend a good full coverage everyday foundation?
by admin on Feb.27, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
i suffer from slight acne scarring on my cheeks and mild acne all over my face. i have some redness usually and i need a foundation that covers well, but doesn't look like i have stage makeup on. i have tried EVERYTHING in the drugstore from almay to maybelline to revlon and i've even tried some department store foundations that never worked. i am so tired of shelling out cash for products that don't work. can anyone recommend a foundation for me? i have oily breakout prone skin and i need something that looks good enough for everyday use. price doesn't matter, at this point i've spent so much i just want to invest in something that works!!

ohk lol, i HATED revlon colorstay too and i have skin just like yours. ive got a easy, cheap, longlasting, full coverage, non pore clogging, simple , easy to find solution for you
go to ANY drugstore and pick up a bottle of rimmel lasting finish liquid foundation. its a 16h wear one and its absolutely the best thing ever , if youve already tried this than another ide suggest is maybelline superstay liquid foundation ( NOT THE SILKY ONE) and if THOSE dont work. lol try loreal trumatch foundation
heres some things to make sure NOT to try. lol..
1. rimmel cool matte mousse.
2. maybelline dream matte mouse
3. maybelline dream liquid mousse
4. covergirl trublend liquid foundation
5. revlon beyond natural foundation
6.revlon photoready foundation
7. covergirl trublend whipped foundation.
dont try those because they would either clogg your pores, make you oily, or have sheer coverage so theyre a NO NO! lol good luck.
Everyday makeup for middle schoolers?
by admin on Feb.02, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
So.. im in 6th grade and i love to wear makeup!! but not a lot.. I deffinetly love eye liner.. my skin is tan and i have dark brown eyes. Also, I have brown hair.
So whats a good everyday makeup for middle schoolers?

if you have acne i recommend the Benefit brand powder you would probably be in the shade "cute as a bunny honey". for an eyeliner a light purple is always pretty so is an olive or indigo color. (i really like the ulta brand eyeliners) ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PUT ON THICK EYELINER! it looks really bad and is not attractive. black will always look nice but if you want some pop, use a color or even just a dark chocolate color. as for shadows, try to stay pretty neutral. to much make up will look bad. you can have a medium brown color like suede from ulta, or something a little darker than your skin tone and then accent it with some color. you would probably look good with a light purple or rose tone for an accent color. mascara also makes everything pop but don't put it on too thick. less is more. i suggest full and soft from Maybelline. for more ideas try you tube! it can be really helpful. I suggest watching juicystar07, michelephan, or kandy johnson(cant remember her screen name) for tips!
hope this helps!
