What colour eyes shaddow or eyes make up would go best with blue eyes?
by admin on Mar.27, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
i have blue eyes.. and im just wondering which colour eyes make ups will go well with my eyes? any suggestions?
Answer :————————
I think gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue will suit people with blue eyes. Like somebody said above, if you want a smoky effect, mix bright blue with black eyeliner. You could also mix in some silver, fuschia, or turquoise to give it a funky feeling. Violets and lavenders will look superb on your eyes if you have blue eyes and blonde hair.
I hope I've helped! And hope your make-up goes well!
Cosmetic Eye Surgery
by admin on Mar.27, 2010, under Womens Interest
Surgery on the eyelids is known as blepharoplasty. It is performed to correct several different problems. These may be reduction of creases around the eyes, heaviness above the lids, bags under the eyes, and extra skin. There is also a procedure that Asians often have done that changes the epicanthal fold and results in a rounder eye. Blepharoplasty cannot eradicate crows feet or do away with dark circles under the eyes. Sagging eyebrows cannot be helped by blepharoplasty but there is a separate surgery that will raise eyebrows. This is known as a brow lift or forehead lift. Older people sometimes need blepharoplasty for non cosmetic purposes such as a drooping eyelid that obstructs their vision. Some people are born with a heavy eyelid that interferes with vision at any age. Those contemplating blepharoplasty should first have their eyes thoroughly examined by an ophthalmologist. The surgeon performing the blepharoplasty will need to know that your eyes are healthy and that you don\’t have any eye problems that could be affected by the surgery.
The surgeon will also want to know about your general health and especially if you have any chronic illnesses such as thyroid disease, congestive heart failure, kidney disease or diabetes mellitus that might cause changes in the tissues of the eye. Your surgery will probably be an outpatient type. You will be given a local anesthesia along with a sedative. If you are having both lids done the procedure requires about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. When doing the upper eyelid, the surgeon makes an incision that follows the crease of your lid. The incision for lower lid surgery is just below the eyelashes. The surgeon then removes the excess skin and fat and closes the incision with small stitches. If your bags are caused only by excess fat under your eyes and you don\’t have any excess skin, the surgeon may do a transconjunctival blepharoplasty. In this procedure, the incision is made inside your lower eyelid. Then the doctor removes the fat and closes the incision. There is no visible scar.
Once the incisions are closed, the surgeon will lubricate your eyes
with an antibiotic ointment. You will be kept at the facility until the anesthesia wears off. When this happens you can expect your eyes will be sore and feel gummy due to the mixture of ointment, tears and blood. You may also have blurry vision. For about ten days following the operation, you can expect some swelling and bruising. Your eyes may be sensitive to light and tear excessively for a few weeks afterward. The site of the incision might also be numb. The incision site will not lose its redness for several months. But after three to six months the scar from the incision will be hardly noticeable if at all.
You will need to protect your eyes from the sunlight. Contact lens wearers may not be able to use their lenses for a month after the surgery. Complications from this surgery are rare. Any that do occur are usually due to bleeding.
Know of an eyeliner that won't make my eyes red?
by admin on Mar.27, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
I'm not sure why, but every time I use black eyeliner both of my eyes turn red. They usually don't sting or anything, just a little while later when I look in a mirror I notice how red they are. I can use different shades of brown with no problem at all though, and my eyes don't seem to be sensitive to any other kind of makeup, just black eyeliner. I think this is a little strange, but I guess it has to do with what makes the black. Has anyone ever had this happen? I really would like to find a black eyeliner that doesn't cause this… any suggestions? Thanks!
Answer :————————
You may possibly be allergic. I would try something hypo-allergenic. I personally prefer Revlon Color Stay. It works awesome for me, everything else irritates my eyes. If it's not causing any other problems, you may try to subdue the symptom, by using anti-red eye drops or something of that nature.
What color eye shadows make medium brown eyes pop?
by admin on Mar.27, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
Besides browns I'm bored of them already!
PS: does anyone know of a great mascara besides lashblast and telescopic explosion (i already have those)
Answer :————————
I use blackk! I have CG Perfect point plus. It makes my eyes bolder and bigger, but In a cute, girly and good way.
I also use Almay mascara and, my favorite, glitter mascara. I think it's called Rimmel, or something. It look purple but it's really black with sparkles, and the brush is designed in a special way so that it doesn't clump. It works like magic. The wand-top-cap thingy has the words U J L in a pyrmid. Kinda hard to explainn (:
Hope I helped ; )

Depending upon the light I'd say that they could be between hazel & green. They're definitely very nice and it's always good if they change color in the light. That way their a good conversation starter.

thanks
Answer :————————
There are alot you could do with your eyes already! But you can try putting a silvery shimmer or an opaque white in the area or your tear duct it supposedly makes your eyes look more awake. Also try lining your bottom eyelid with white eyeliner that also gives your eyes a rounder and bigger look. You could also invest in mascara that lengthens your lashes or you could also go with falsies.
hope I was of any help
Blue eyes or brown eyes?

Two tone eyes- what other color goes with purple?
by admin on Mar.27, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
I love wearing two tone eye make up. Normally blue on top and yellow/gold on the bottom, but i want to try purple on my top lid. Anyone know another eyeliner color that will go well on the botton of my eye?
Answer :————————
pinks, blues, silver or grey.
sounds odd, but some (note SOME) people can make red and purple look good, despite them being generally bad together. also the wrong reds can make eyes look sore.
just play around, it also depends on your eye colour, which you haven't stated…
you also didn't say what kind of purple, dark, bright, lilac/violet?
minty greens are a good summer colour, and would go with a lilacy purple.
edit: right, for blue eyes, pale purples and minty greens will brighten them, generally cool colours will make them lighter and brighter.
darker colours like a deep pink, will bring out the colour of the very edge of your iris, as this is the darkest colour of your eye, instead of the whole colour, making your whole eye look stronger and more dramatic.
all depends on day look, or night look, what you're aiming for.
cooler, lighter colours will give a fresher face, ideal for daytime, while darker colours edge towards "glam", good for nights out
How long does an eyes lips face makeup order take to arrive IN CANADA?
by admin on Mar.27, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
I live in Canada and recently ordered some stuff off of eyeslipsface.com and I was wondering how long it usually takes to get here?
I got the normal shipping rate, nothing fancy.
So when do you think it will arrive (I ordered it on the 17th of February aka, last Thursday)
?
Answer :————————
probably 2-3 weeks. Maybe just a week. But it might take a while if its from another country. Check the post office and ask about it. They'll give you answers.
