Well I only wear 3 items of makeup:
Mascara
Concealer
Foundation
I mean, I guess I wouldn't really mind going out without mascara. It's just mascara.
However, my skin is awful! I have acne and huge dark circles, so I feel very self conscious without foundation, and simply do not go out without it. I know it sounds silly, but I really feel awful when I don't cover up my skin.
But for those girls who have clear skin… I don't understand why they are self conscious. I would be delighted if I had clear skin, so much so that I would constantly go out bare faced. Maybe they just worry because they think their eyes look smaller without eyeshadow or something?

I am just curious because I have a hard time waking up in the morning and I just wakeup get dressed brush my teeth wash my face and leave. I would like to get into a better morning routine where I actually do my hair and wake up earlier to get ready and put more effort into getting ready.
