Naturally have black hair, && I have bright blue eyes. Should I dye my hair?
by admin on Feb.23, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
http://hair-styles.womendiary.net/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/diaz-hair-brunette.jpg (This is a link to my combination and complexion naturally)
I don't know why I feel like I want to die my hair to … maybe like a Miley Cyrus' light brown hair with highlights. But I don't know if that will look good on me, because I naturally have black hair and I think my dark hair make my blue eyes pop soo much. And if I dye my hair brown, my eyebrows will be black! I have never dyed my hair in my life, ever. I'm 17 years old. And all my friends say my hair won't ever go back to the way it is now…. but they do it themselves?
Should I dye my hair?

Protect Your Hair From Heat Damage in 5 Ways
by admin on Feb.23, 2010, under Womens Interest
Hair is counted among the most important part of beauty, but it does take some effort to keep them beautiful, and healthy. As people have become more fashion conscious, and they want to look the best, they get into experimenting with their hair a lot. To satisfy this need to style, many products for hair styling are available easily these days, such as the blow dryers, curling irons, rollers, and hair straightening irons.
The busy life today, do not allow people to have enough time to let their hair dry naturally, so use of blow dryers has become common. Another reason for the excessive use of styling tools is that people wish to change their look often, and experiment with different hairstyles. Therefore, people with straight hair use curling tongs, while those with curly hair use straighteners. Use of heat styling tools strips your hair of essential moisture, and leads to dryness, and split ends.
If you want to keep your hair from being damaged, then you should be following precautionary measures. It is very important that you should let your hair dry naturally, and avoid the use of hair dryer, as much as possible. It is not that you are always in a rush, there are times when you stay are staying at home; therefore, you should wash your hair at such a time, so you can let them dry naturally.
You should also make sure that you use the products that have high quality, because they do not cause less damage to your hair. You should use that type of hair straightening iron that are made of Teflon, this material is very good, as it does not cause much damage to your hair. Likewise, there are hair dryers called ionic hair dryers, which are specially designed to make sure that the moisture stays in your hair with the help of negative charges.
Another important point is that you should always use good quality shampoos and conditioners, because they are aimed at protecting your hair against damages. Such shampoos and conditioners contain proteins that are activated with heat, and provide protection against damage. You should also apply serums to your hair before using these hair styling equipments, because they provide protection against damage from heat. Also, never use any hair styling heat equipment while your hairs are damp.
Still if you are a frequent user of hair styling equipment, then you must take out time to treat your hair well if you do not want to lose them completely. Try to use, at least conditioners of high quality once a week that would provide healthy treatment to your hair. Also for making your hair strong and saving them from being damaged, you can easily get products of hot oil treatments and conditioners.
Last but not the least, you must know that heat damage is not just caused by the styling equipments, another most hair damaging equipment are the harmful rays of sun. It is advisable that when you go out into sun, you must cover your hair, and you should apply UV protection product to your hair.
No doubt, the use of styling tools is very convenient, and addictive. It is a perfect solution when you are short of time, or need a flawless style. However, if you want to retain your hair beauty, it is essential that you do not over use these tools, and take extra care of you hair.
Regrow Hair With Products That Truly Work
by admin on Feb.23, 2010, under Womens Interest
If your hair is falling out, you should know that most people who go bald can regrow hair. But that can only happen using certain products. You shouldn\’t waste your resources on gimmicks.
Both male and female hair loss is most often the result of androgenic alopecia. It\’s usually shortened to alopecia when referring to baldness in women, and commonly called male pattern baldness when it occurs in men. Many people who suffer from hair loss find it affects their confidence levels and self esteem.
This type of baldness is an inherited trait, passed down through families. This genetic trait causes some hormonal abnormalities. While these abnormalities don\’t impair most of your body\’s functions, they do cause your hair to thin and fall out.
There are multitudinous treatments advertised to \’cure\’ baldness. Sadly, the majority of these treatments are designed simply to take a profit off of the many men and women who find balding undesirable. Their products can\’t regrow hair, nor can they stop–or even slow–the loss of hair. Scientific studies have shown, again and again, that these products do not work and will not work, yet these companies persist.
Don\’t become a victim of companies trying to make money with these scams. There\’s no reason to, when there are products that contain ingredients that have been proven beyond any doubt to regrow hair. These ingredients have been tested by the Federal Drug Administration, which has given its stamp of approval. They really do stop loss and cause your hair to grow back.
One of these very few FDA approved substances is called minoxidil. Minoxidil is the most widely successful treatment for balding; it works for more people than any other. For women, in fact, no other ingredient has been approved for the treatment of baldness. It can\’t, of course, change your genes, but it compensates for the hormonal differences they cause and the androgenic alopecia which results.
Only a medication like minoxidil can regrow your hair. There are additional things you should do, in addition to using an approved medicine, which will ensure that your new hair is as strong and vibrant as it possibly can be. The only thing better than having your own hair regrow is to have it regrow even better than it was before.
For this, nutrition is crucial. Many of the vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin B6 and biotin, have a direct effect on your hair\’s health. If you\’re not sure you\’re getting sufficient amounts of these nutrients in your diet, consider a supplement.
Don\’t wait to regain your confidence and improve your appearance, get a product that is proven, and approved by the FDA, to regrow hair.
Women Helpful Tips to Keep Hair Pretty
by admin on Feb.21, 2010, under Womens Interest
Not every woman is born with shiny, well behaved, gorgeous hair. Some have to work at it; even those that do not still need to take care of it. Hair can be pretty simply by implementing some tried and true techniques. There are also new advances in this area as well.
Physical and internal health is the foundation for beautiful hair. If the body is not healthy and well nourished, hair will not appear healthy either. The skin, hair and nails are all fed by what the body is fed. Of course, it is essential to drink lots of water; this is true for strong hair as well as overall health. This becomes increasingly central as pollution, chemical and heat treatments or just bad weather can also damage the hair. Water replenishes what is lost due to those issues. Consuming healthy Omega 3 oils and fats, nuts, fish, cooking with olive oil, as well as following a more Mediterranean oriented diet are a must. Ingesting large amounts of sugar can result in B vitamin complexes being drawn from the body, and these are some of the most key components needed to grow and maintain healthy hair. Exercise is vital as well.
Hygiene is significant in having pretty hair. If the hair is dirty and greasy, how will it look and feel healthy? The reverse is also true: washing too often, too vigorously, or using harsh chemicals is very hard on the hair shaft and ends. Anything that strips natural moisture should be avoided. Look for a shampoo made specifically for your hair type and condition. Stimulating the scalp with the tips of the fingers prior to each wash is also important. This is also a great help in getting rid of dandruff.
If there is heat or chemical damage, the dryness and split ends can be led to begin to heal by using smoothing products and the appropriate conditioner. Beginning the treatment will create the facade of undamaged hair; as treatment and trims are continued, the health of the hair will truly be restored. The conditioner should match the texture and condition of the hair just as the shampoo does. Putting the hair in a towel gently and patting will remove excess water. Rubbing is not advised, and rough combing or brushing while the hair is wet can result in breakage and loss. If a blow dryer must be used, ensure that the hair has air dried as much as is feasible to prevent heat damage.
Extremely dry and damaged hair can profit from a weekly oil or hot oil treatment. This should be done when there is plenty of time, as the oil needs to be kept on the hair ideally for three to five hours. Then washing as normal can be done. Try to limit the use of hair products containing silica or alcohol. Alcohol is drying, and silica products only cause oily product buildup that is just washed out again.
Oily hair should be washed more often than dryer hair, and many Americans especially simply wash their hair too often. This is harmful and damaging as well. The natural oils on the scalp and hair should not be constantly stripped away. Natural products are of course healthier for pretty hair, as well as the environment. There is no need to contribute to extra chemicals on the hair or in further pollution of the environment.
Maintaining basic health and following some practical, gentle guidelines can maintain and/or create a woman`s head of pretty hair.

How to Treat Female Thinning Hair
by admin on Feb.17, 2010, under Womens Interest
The fact of the matter is men are not the only ones that are hit with thinning hair. In fact, female thinning hair is not very uncommon as a woman gets older. Now women will not go bald like a typical man does, but it is something that can be socially hindering. If you are looking to prevent thinning hair or treat it, here are some great methods that you can look into.
You may have inherited your thinning hair from your parents or even grandparents. It has been medically proven that you can get hair loss genes from your mom or your dad. Both parents have been known to carry the thin hair gene. If you know this ahead of time, you should get with your doctor or get with a specialist to explore your options.
There are hair products on the shelves today that may not be right for your hair. If you already know that you have thin hair take a look at the type of hair products that you are using. This includes shampoos, conditions, gels or hairsprays. Take a look in the section that is specifically designed for your fragile hair type and try a product from there. These are to be used when you wash your hair and they have shown some results.
An over the counter medication has been created for both men and women who are suffering from hair loss. You can typically find these products where the hair dyes or special products are. These products are FDA approved and designed to help stop the hair loss process dead in its tracks.
Of course if you do not want to mess around with product after product you can always turn towards the surgical road. There are a couple of surgeries that you can your specialist can look into. Hair transplants are used for those who have severely thinning hair or hair loss. If you are not losing as much, then this may be a bit extreme.
If you have found that these over the counter products and shampoos are not working out for you, then surgery might be your next step. Depending on the amount of hair loss or thinning hair you have, you may or may not be a candidate. Make sure that you sit down with you r specialist to discuss this option. This can be a very extensive and painful procedure so just get your facts straight.
If you would prefer to stay away fro the surgery road, then look into buying a couple of wigs. Wigs today are looking a lot more natural and no one can really tell the difference anymore. You can purchase custom wigs in your local town or even online!
Female hair loss is something that many women all over the world suffer from. If you are one of them, take a look at your options and find the one that best suits you. If you have any questions about any solutions get with your doctor first.

And I have pale skin. When I use brown, people can't even tell I'm wearing it.

The best place I have found for how to do makeup for hazel eyes is http://www.examiner.com/x-29020-Rochester-Makeup-Examiner. There's an article there entitled "Makeup for all eyes: Part 4–Hazel eyes" where it talks all about what colors to use and how to use them. I would definitely check it out. There's even an article there all about how to pick colors to make pale skin pop.
