What I Need Is A Diet 4 Idiots – Calorie Shifting

I want to lose weight, plain and simple.? I don\’t want to count calories. I don\’t want to weigh portion sizes.? And if I could get away with it, I\’d rather not do any exercise (wishful thinking).? I\’m not really an idiot, but I like to keep things simple.? So, when it comes to diets, I need a diet for idiots.

One of the diets that appealed to me was described as calorie shifting.? Here are some of the reasons this fit my need for a diet for idiots:

1.? 11 Day Cycle with 3 Days Off

This diet actually gave me time off!? I could go out to eat with my friends and not worry if they had Weight Watchers offerings.? Somehow it is easier to be part of a diet that doesn\’t last forever.? I get a chance to re-evaluate every 11 days.? And I can just relax for three days before I jump in again.

2.? Four Meals a Day

Instead of starving all day thinking of my one main meal, this diet wants me to keep eating through the day.? They say that by eating more meals, my metabolism keeps burning.? This is good because that is what burns off my fat.? So, I don\’t feel hungry – I feel good, in fact.

3.? No Small Portions

I am encouraged to eat until I start feeling full.? I don\’t have to fit my meat into an ice cube holder, I can have a normal size piece of meat!? This isn\’t a starvation diet or one where we are working hard to cut back on the calories that we consume per day.? The idea is to vary the types of food we eat (and when we eat them) so that our metabolism never settles in on that plateau that doesn\’t let us lose any more.

4.? I Can Choose What I Want to Eat

The diet lets me chose foods out of a food group.? I can design my meal and my day.

This diet keeps it simple, and I don\’t have to starve or crave foods that I never can have.? I can lose as much as nine pounds in an eleven day cycle!? I don\’t have to exercise to lose that much, but I know I should.

How I Lost 30 Pounds – Lose 30 Pounds Easily!

The good news is it\’s not too hard to lose 30 pounds. I did it a number of years ago and you can too if you follow these simple steps.

First, I didn\’t spend a lot of money to join a fancy gym and I didn\’t go on a cabbage soup or grapefruit diet or something silly like that. What you need to do is basically change your eating habits and your lifestyle. I also did not start keeping a log of calories and fat grams, nor did I carry a scale around with me to weigh my food. (Some people do this!)

If you are a sedentary person it\’s important to do some kind of exercise on a daily basis. It doesn\’t have to be something hard or painful, it can be something as simple as walking a certain amount of time or miles per day. Actually that\’s what I did and it worked great. I walked for about 45 minutes a day, and I\’m not sure how far it was because I went by time and not miles. So every day I made a point to go outside and do my 45-minute walk.

Next, I added a bit of strength training. Again, this was not anything painful or difficult and it only took about 15 minutes about 3 days a week. I didn\’t go to a gym because I have a machine at home which I used, but if you don\’t have anything just use some small free weights or buy something cheap. Of course if you want to join a gym that would be even better but my point here is you can achieve this goal without shelling out tons of money a month.

Next thing is to alter your eating habits. You don\’t have to cut out your favorite foods at all, just cut down. If you have a sweet tooth, allow yourself one snack of your favorite dessert once a day. For your other meals, be sure to scatter them throughout the day and don\’t skip any meals. This will keep your body burning calories throughout the day and speed up your metabolism. This, along with the daily exercise will really speed up your weight loss.

If you stick to this regimen wholeheartedly, I mean really stick to it and give it your best, you absolutely will lose 30 pounds if that is your goal. If you want to speed up the process, walk a little farther each day. But your goal here is not to lose the weight as fast as possible but simply to get it off and keep it off forever. If you follow this plan you\’ll do exactly that.
