Favorite mascara…what is yours?
by admin on Mar.02, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
What is your favorite Mascara that actually lenghtens your lashes?
Answer :————————
Well, I actually have alot of favorites, but the best one for length is Maybelline XXL Extensions. The primer really builds and thickens your lashes, and then the mascara side darkens and elongates them. It gives you a really dramatic lash look. It doesn`t clump, smudge, or smear either. One time I was wearing it and my mom and sister said it looked like I was wearing false eyelashes. That`s how good this mascara is. If you want more of a natural looking mascara that gives really good length you should also check out Covergirl Lash Blast Length because it gives really long, seperated, and clean lashes with no flaking. This won`t give you much volume, but it`s perfect for a day time mascara. Hope I helped.
Drugstore mascara help?
by admin on Mar.02, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
So I'm in need of some new mascara and am going to CVS tomorrow. I'm using Maybelline New York Big Lash which I've been using for years (well, regular Maybelline mascara) but it's always given me raccoon eyes and I don't even coat my bottom lashes (for whatever reason I just deal with it) as well as clumps and flakes. Not to mention takes forever to take off.
I've looked into the Organic Wear mascara from Physicians Formula so any thoughts on that? And if not, can anyone recommend any good mascaras that won't clump, flake, or smudge? All I really do is line my lop lid with a dark brown eyeliner and then a coat or two of mascara; I perfer a more natural look than over-the-top noticeable.

Does anyone use/have CoverGirl's LengthBlast mascara?
by admin on Mar.02, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
does it work but most importantly is it worth the money? I've been wanting to try it for so long but i want to hear what you guys say before i rush to RiteAid
Does it make your lashes super long or just long? (because i want super long!!)
Answer :————————
I have relatively short eye lashes, and I can say for a fact that it didn't do any better than the next brand. But that is because my eye lashes aren't long, it won't add length at all.
If you want a good cheap drug store brand, I recommend going with Maybelline Colossal Volum Express. I find that I prefer my drugstore mascaras over my high end ones. What it does is it adds alot of volume, and lengthens. And to further your length, you may also want to put CoverGirl Lash Blast Length over top of that. Both mascaras are great, and they come in yellow bottles just for your information.

OK people, all i need now is a good mascara for defination/length.
i really want one that i can just repurshase over and over again. im really curious about the maybelline pulse perfection. has anyone tired this? please recommend me some
Answer :————————
Well, since I have tried so many, I have more than one that I like. Basically I use these first for the definition and length and then I layer on a volumizing mascara. So this way I get it all, LOL. Seperation, volume, and length.
Rimmel Lash Maxxx. This is one of the best mascaras out there for seperation. It has a comb like applicator so it gives you great length and seperation. No clumps at all, YEAHH! Ha Ha. Here is a pic of the mascara:
What is a really good mascara?

?
That Thickens.
Answer :————————
You should try Maybelline XXL Extensions mascara. It is a double ended mascara that has a primer that really thickens and builds the lashes up and the mascara side which really darkens and elongates the lashes. No clumps, smears, flaking, or smudging and has no bad smell like Colossal and Lash Stiletto.
I have tried over twenty mascaras and this is my hands down favorite. I have tried some expensive mascaras in the past such as Dior, Too Faced, Clinique, and Tarte and they couldn`t even remotely compete with how good this.
My sister and mom both told me it looked like I was wearing false eyelashes, that`s how good this stuff is. You can buy at Wal-Mart or drugstores for around seven to eight dollars.
Make sure to curl your lashes, apply two coats, and curl again for best results. Hope I helped.
What is the best mascara ?

What is the best mascara you have used? Why?
by admin on Feb.26, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
Answer :————————
Cover Girl Lash Blast. I have the worst eyelashes possible: they're blond, short, and I don't have very many. This mascara is amazing! One coat makes them look like normal healthy lashes, and two coats makes them look super full and long. I used to use three or four coats of my old brand to get that same effect!
Is there a mascara for guys?
by admin on Feb.25, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
I want to know if there is a light mascara for guys? I dont want a lot just a little. I have very full long eyelashes. Girls comment and like them so I thought I might bring them out a bit.
Answer :————————
To the best of my knowledge, there isn't one specifically for guys. If you want to wear mascara, buy a clear mascara, every drugstore or Walmart will have one (all the different brands usually make a clear mascara.) Maybelline Great Lash makes a clear mascara thats only about 4-5 dollars, and every drug store carries this line, it's the most popular mascara and you shouldn't have a hard time finding it because it comes in a pink & green tube so it's real distinct. It will bring out your lashes without dramatic color, just gives it a little length and prominence. If you have dark lashes already, this will be perfect. You don't want to wear a dramatic black mascara because women associate men in eyeliner or mascara with meaning that you're gay (not that there is anything wrong with that, you just don't want to be sending mixed signals if you're a straight guy.)
Should i wear mascara? (more details)?
by admin on Feb.25, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
well i have REALLY, REALLY thick eyelashes, and i thought maybe i should wear mascara to straighten them out because my eyelashes aren't straight. but my eyelashes are so big that if i wear mascara they look fake, like glued on. is there anyway to put it one without them looking fake. also lash curleres dont do anything for me.

Ladies! Does mascara make your eyelashes fall out?
by admin on Feb.23, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
I usually don't wear mascara, but I have heard by my cousins that it causes your eyelashes to fall out. For the past week I have been wearing some mascara and every time I take it off with make-up remover I always see an eyelash or two come out! So does mascara make your eyelashes fall out? What about wearing it over time(like for years)?
Answer :————————
No Kim it does not make your eyelashes drop out – I know I wore it for years and years. When you saw one when you had removed the mascara in the first place correctly, that was just an eye lash that was ready to drop out on its own – it happens all the time, and is a natural process, but occurs in a way that we are not aware that our lashes are growing thinner, they replace themselves very quickly, much faster than the hair on our heads.
What does make them come out in clumps though, is when we cake it on too much in the first place, and then a person has a habit of trying to remove the thicken clump of mascara, hence some are pulled out then, but even so, you won't go and find a bald patch.
Wear mascara it will enhance the eyes and does certainly make the eyes look bigger than they really are, but be faithful to your lashes every night before going to bed, do not go to bed no matter how tired you feel leaving it on – for one reason only – its a swine to get the mark of the pillow cases. Every night, apply an oil preferably one that is non sensitive to the eyes, like some of the products you get from the Chemist/Pharmacists, using Cotton wool apply a little oil onto the cotton pad and wipe away from the inside of the eye to the outer side of the eye. Then rinse your face and eyes in luke warm water, and use soap to continue washing or whatever it is you use rather than soap to wash the remainder of your face.
You will soon get into the habit of it, and it only takes less than a minute to do each night. When putting the mascara on, let the first coat dry, then apply a second and third if you want thicker looking lashes, but allow each coat to dry properly.
If you have thick eye lashed or long ones, then the best thing of all to do is have them dyed. Its painless and most Hairdressers do it. It does not cost much either.
