i'm really having trouble finding a good foundation for my acne prone skin. i recently bought estee lauder double wear light and i loved it at first, however, it's starting to oxidize on my skin and the coverage is wayyyy too light. the salesgirl had no idea what she was talking about when she said it was medium coverage, it's super sheer! i have some blemishes and acne scars that i need to cover up. i've tried bare minerals, clinique and cargo. can anyone suggest a good foundation that will provide good coverage and will stay on oily skin? i'm having such a hard time

ok i bought this really cute headband, it has brown and black feathers on the side. It is super cute, the black feathers have white polka-dots on them. I couldn't find a link to the pic so sorry.

Okay, so i am like a complete beginner at everything in make up. What am i suppose to apply to my face like i know consealer and foundation but i am not to fond of foundation. I have been recommended to put MAC studio finish consealer and the mineral powder but i really do not want liquid foudation is that ok? and also if theres any tips i should get please let me know thank youu :]

Ok, first off you do not need foundation or concealer. Its not required at all, but it is good to use if you have uneven skin. Like if you have blotchy skin or some problem areas you don't want to be seen. I use powder only, its light and it doesn't clog my pores. So I don't have to worry about causing my skin to break out! I would recommend Clinique and Philosophy when it comes to powder. They're both very light and work really well. MAC is nice, but each time I buy the powder it just breaks apart in its compact. So I don't waste my money. I'm not sure if you're asking just about foundation and powder but here is some make up that I would recommend.

Eyeliner- Urban Decay, Sephora, Clinique, and Lancome. For Lancome I'm not sure if they have basic eyeliner but they have ArtLiner that is amazing. Its great if you're going out and don't want to worry about your makeup wearing off or smudging.

Mascara- Vincent Longo, Maybelline Volum' Express, Too Faced – Lash Injection, Benefit, and Lancome.

Eye Shadow- Urban Decay, MAC, Sephora, Stila

Blush- this one is a little foreign to me since I don't really use it but during the winter to add some color I use a cheek stain by Tarte. It works really well and its really easy to apply.

Bronzer- If you want to use one I would recommend Bare Essentials. Its the only one I've ever used and its really light on your skin.

Lips- Gloss: Clinique, Benefit, Stila. LipStick: Smashbox, Chanel, Maybelline, Clinique, Sephora

Thats all I have for you lol. Hope it helps. Oh! Also almost forgot, the only foundation I do use when I need it is Kevin Aucion. It works great for my skin but foundation is something you have to look around for. Some things work better for other people. Also look for it in your skin type k.

Ok so my skin is really weird. When I get out of the shower in the morning it is really dry, so I use a little moisturizer. Then by the end of the day (even by 1ish in the afternoon) it is really oily. My eyeliner melts right off my eyes and it makes me look dirty. What are some ways I can keep my skin nice all day long, without having to do anything in the middle of the day? I use to set my foundation with powder but it looked very cakey and fake. I am looking for a foundation that Last ALL sweat off! Also without it being expensive… like i'm looking for a drug store makeup! I have oily and VERY sensitive skin! Any ideas?! Oh also i have already tried the Maybeline 24hr foundation and that didn't work. Right now i am using Loreal's true match which is supposed to be and all day wear, but it doesn't really last more then 3 hrs. before my oily skin starts melting it off i also use a translucent powder over it that is supposed to keep your makeup in for 10 hrs by Maybeline but that doesn't work either! HELP!!!

P.S.
Preferably liquid foundation!

i use dinair airbrush makeup and u should totally look into it…they have a line called glamour that covers everything and its water based so its great for senstive skin…they also have a line called paramedical thats waterproof and u can literally swim with it on so now even sweat would be a problem…i wear the glamour line m ore and sweat doesnt normally bother it at all…ive been using their makeup for almost 3 years and i LOVE it!!! anywho..hope i helped…=)

So anyways, I'm starting wearing makeup, but I already have my foundation/concealer match etc…

I got this eyeshadow as a gift, its OKAY but its kinda cheap
It doesn't last on me long and the colors are boring…

For eyeshaddow and lipstick, Revlon is the best brand. Their eyeshaddows are really pigmented (they are comparable to MAC) and last a long time. They also have the smoothest lipstick and it's only $5.00! Another reason I love their lipstick is because they have the most color selections out of any other drugstore brand.

For mascara, my favorite is L'oreal telescopic. I have tried high end mascaras and spent over $20.00, but i keep going back to telescopic. It is my favorite of all time and it lengthens your lashes so much.

My favorite drugstore blush is the Maybelline dream mousse blush. It goes on so smooth and stays on all day and they have great colors.

All of these can be bought at Ulta, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, or CVS. basically any drugstore. good luck!

when i joined, i got 30 percent off in my email and it came with a promo code i believe. i dont think you can usually use it with another promo code. sometimes they have their 40 percent off sale. they kinda take forever sending it, but their stuff is alright. if you are buying their eyeshadows, i just want to let you know they are a little powdery and are not much pigment. however, they always give so a lot a product so that is a good thing.

I have used Covergirl Advanced Radiance Cream Foundation and Revlon Colorstay. They have worked well, but Revlon Colorstay gets a little tricky to apply and sometimes gets blotchy & the Covergirl Advanced Radiance isn't sold anymore.

I like foundations that can cover my breakouts without worsening them, and do not create oil.

any mineral power works really good. its really cheap at the drug store, and a lot of them even come with a brush! its probably your best bet! i use it all the time and my friends say my skin looks flawless.

I have 3 or four different concealers revlon colorstay blemish control, loreal true match and also maybelline mineral power concealer the problem is i have dark marks( ance scaring) on my face in certain places and none of these work i tried every method some people say use a lighter shade to cover dark spots after you apply foundation but when i do that it looks gross it just highlights the area and makes it more noticible so then i apply it under foundation and then it rubs off can some one please help also can someone give me a good concealer to use other than mac all the concealers broke me out that's how i got the ance scaring.

Put concealer before and after foundation. Pat the concealer on and apply your foundation on with a brush in circular motions blending in the concealer.
