u dont really need it for face because if u use a moisturizer before itll stay on longer anyways
but u should use it for ur eyes so ur eyeshadow stays and doesnt crease up. urban decay primer potion is really good. and elf eye primer is good too

I have oily/acne prone skin. I have been using Clinique's moisturizer in the yellow square bottle. Just recently I got two primer samples from Sephora. A Korres Primer and Smashbox Photofinish Primer. I seem to like Korres better. But, I've heard that Murad Oil Control Mattifier is a better choice as it is both a primer and moisturizer. I have acne. Not bad. I started a new treatment so it's pretty mild now. Now it's mostly scars and some zits here and there depending on the day.

Anyways, when I do my make up by the end of the night it always looks bad. Something it just doesnt look natural, it makes my pores look worse, and it makes me skin look oily.
Sometimes it looks perfect! But a lot of times, I have a problem.

Would primer help with this?
I don't know what a primer does because I've never used one.
Would it help cover my pores and make my face look more natural when I put on foundation?

primer helps smooth out your face so that make up will go on smoother and you dont need as much and its protects your pores from dirt and oils in make-up that will make your acne worse. always remember to wash your face and moisturize before you go to bed at before you put your make-up on

in your situation i would say that primer would be perfect for you!

yes! but make sure it is the SAME color as ur skin NOT lighter……. well now that u think about it the color would not matter as long as it is close to ur skin,but it would be better if the concealer was the same color as ur skin.

***p.s. do know that if the concealer is not ur same color ur eyeshadow would not have the same color payoff.

I heard that it's 10 minutes or so, but i don't have the time with school and all. By the way i like to moisturize like crazy becasue my skin is extremely dry and i use monistat chafing gel as a face primer and loreal de-crease eyeprimer.

well i think its more like 1-2 minutes.
you dont need 10 minutes. and eye primer only takes seconds.

just let your mosturizer set in more before primer like 4-10 minutes. but you dont need to wait for your primer
