depends on what your best feature is. If its your eyes, Id do a single coat of mascara with a dark smoky eyeshadow and a silvery highlight at your brow and inside corners of your eyes.. but if its your lips Id go for a crushed berry colored lip stain with a clear gloss. and since your skin is pale maybe a nice Rosy blush on your cheeks? but only accent your eyes or lips. not both. and really you should do blush. guys like it even if they cant tell why lol and keep it simple because your kinda young and its just a game… no need to look trampy and sometimes girls your age do that on accident

D i wear silver and gold eyeshadow, and eye liner (light)
If you think you should wear make up start gradually by wearing lipgloss, then mascara, then LIGHT eyeshadow the slowly go into darker colors and eyeliner!

i am wondering if anyone has used any avon face products and then had skin probblems after using it.

i am just wondering because i had been using one of their anti aging products and started getting problems with break out and deep under the skin pimples that really hurt-and seriuosly i ahd not had that for years.

so i stoped and it was fine and then gave it a try again just to see and i have the same problem..

The lighter color which is thicker is used for blemishes. The darker color is creamier and is used under the eyes

my eyes are sensitive to the air after i put on eyeliner. i have to squint so i dont tear up. any suggestions or reason why this is happening? thanks a bunch

Does this happen to all the eyeliners you use, or a certain eyeliner? Maybe you are allergic to it. Do not put the eyeliner too close to the lash line, as maybe some do get in your eyes.
I suggest, try different brands and different type (such as liquid, pencil, kohl, gel liners) and see if you get the same reaction.

so im gonna need new makeup soon, and im currently using revlon colorstay but i want to try something new and better that isnt comodegenic. i was thinking of getting maybelline mineral power in either liquid or loose powder form, loreal mineral foundation, or L.A. minerals. the thing is,since its online i dont know much about it. I have acne prone combination/oily skin and i dont really use powder makeup. how does it compare to the clinique mineral makeup and the other ones i listed and would it last a long time if i buy the full size?

PS: i know you can get samples but it has to be at least 10 dollars to order something, so if the samples dont match at all, i dont want to have to get 4 more to see if they match, and i always have trouble getting the right shade…

Revlon colorstay made me break out. Really hard to get it all off of your skin. Purest store brand is Physicians formula, but then you cant try samples!
Never tried clinique, but wow is it expensive!
I use the Hollywood formula of LA Minerals. My full size pot lasts me about 8-9 months. Yeah it's best to get samples first. But you can get free shipping if you are in the USA. Plus they send you a coupon for 10% off your first kit.
Anyways, you at least know if you have very pale skin. Then try to detemine if you are cool or warm or whatever. Helps narrow down the colors of samples you should try.
Maybe get your mom interested in ordering samples too:) Then maybe she will pay for it! LOL

The Valley girl formula has stuff in it for acne prone oily skin. Try that and their oil control powder, its really really good. I use it on my forehead and it lasts all day.

BE is bad for acne prone skin cuz of the bismuth oxychloride in it. LA doesn't use that ingredient.
Just google "bismuth oxychloride and cystic acne" and see what shows up!

I have black hair, fairly pale skin and blue eyes. I've decided to go for a purple/plum colour with my eyes, but as i usually go for neutral eyes and strong lip colour, i don't know what to do lip colour wise as i try the strong eyes for the wedding?

Use a medium shade of the plum colour on your eyes first. Use a dark chocolate brown on your eyes (brown complements plum nicely, in my opinion). Use black or a dark, dark plum eyeliner on your top lid. Smudge a bit of the medium plum shade on your bottom lashline. Curl and use black mascara.

For your lips, use a nude lipstick and clear gloss.

Okay, so my current hair color is a light blonde.. I would say about two shades darker than platinum. My natural hair color is a dirty blonde, so my eyebrows are that color obviously. I was wondering, if I wanted to fill my eyebrows in with eyebrow pencil what color would work best? I bought an eyebrow pencil in brown, and it is just way too dark. Is it true that if you're blonde, you should fill your eyebrows in with a pencil that's two shades lighter than your natural hair color? Thanks.

Well, it's actually the other way around! If you're a brunette like me, your brow pencil should be 2 shades lighter (you don't wanna end up with black brow, we want just enough soft definition to define them!) and if you're a blonde, you would want to go 2 shades DARKER because if you went lighter, you wouldn't be defining the brow at all, right? I learned all of this from this girl named michelle phan on youtube, she's great and you can look at some of her tutorials to look at how she does her brows. Hope this helps!

im looking to buy LA mineral makeup but im wondering if i have to buy the mineral comcealer or can i just use my liquid and cream concealers that i already have? like will it look okay after a whole day of sweating and oilyness since its two different formulas?

You can use any liquid and cream concealers.
One of the best mineral makeup I fell in LOVE with is Maybelline Mineral Make up …it hides your flaws and it's oil free. I recommend it.

Why are there night time and day time eyeshadow? Can't you wear day time eyeshadow at night? And let's say you wear daytime eyeshadow, night comes, do you just apply the night time eyeshadow over the day time? Or do you have to wash it off and reapply?

Haha, no you don't *have* to. It's just for different looks. Having really bold "out there" eyeshadow in the day doesn't always look great, and it works better for going out at night. You really don't need to do it either way. Wear what you want when you want. People who go by those rules though who are going out at night, would normally wash off their day time and put night time eyeshadow on, unless they just wanted to make the colors they had more bold.
