Lots of questions on makeup?
by admin on Mar.03, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
Hello.
I have some questions on makeup:
When you just start to wear makeup, how much is too much? Any pictures/links on the right amount of makeup for a beginner?
When you just start to wear makeup, is this too much? http://mileystyle.net/makeup/026.php
When did you start wearing makeup? How much did you wear?
I'm just curious today I guess.. ^^
Answer :————————
1) it also depends on your age, because when you first start to wear makeup, it can look weird at first, so gradually ease into wearing it (like, just mascara one month, add eyeshadow and blush another month, etc.) personally, i dont think eyeliner is for people who are first starting to wear makeup. as long as it looks natural, i think whatever amount is fine.
2) that is a good amount, but less eyeliner, and it looks like she went heavy on the foundation, which is a no-no
3) i first started in 8th grade, and wore lip gloss and mascara and some blush, then in 9th grade i wore that and powder foundation and eyeshadows, and in 10th grade i pretty much wore it all because i did my research and i didnt apply anything too heavy.
makeup isnt to cover flaws (well…not always) it is to enhance your natural beauty, that is why less makeup is more. it is used to create a flawless complection and make your eyes and cheek bones pop, not to scare little kids when u apply too much eyeliner.

okay so i usually wear alittle foundation blush pencil eyeliner on the top lashline ad waterline and alittle mascara. overall it looks very nice and teenaged kind of makeup.
i dont wanna wear so much makeup to school. like i wanna wear mascara and foundation and blush but no eyeiner. but my school has very high lighting and i wanna look less tired even when im not tired without alll the eyeliner. please help meee
Answer :————————
Trry buying a light colored eyeshadow with light reflectors. A pretty light pink or light beige would work, the light color on your top lashline and in the tear duct will make your eyes appear more open without seeming over done. here are some links to pcs for ideas
Changing my eye color? Few questions…?
by admin on Feb.21, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
i've always wanted green eyes, unfortunately i'm stuck with brown eyes. i absolutely hate it. i've heard about the NewColorIris and how can change people's eye color; i'm really interested about this, but i'm fearful about the side effects. what do you guys think about this process? is it safe or is totally just dumb?
thanks for answering.
Answer :————————
Dumb, you and everyone else should embrace their natural looks, It's ridiculous how everyone has to change their looks to be happy with themselves. Being a fake is never attractive.

A few questions about the Coastal Scents 88 eyeshadow palette…?
by admin on Feb.02, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
Well, i'm considering purchasing the 88 eyeshadow palette in matte from coastal scents but i have a few questions:
1) is it well worth the $25 i will be paying? (that includes shipping)
2) if u have this product, i hear the shadows are quite small… how long do they last?
3) is the quality truly comparable to MAC?
4) the same product that is at www.coastalscents.com also is at www.bhcosmetics.com which one do i get? is there a difference?
any comments you have on this would be appreciated, i'd like to know as much as i can before i spend my money on it.
Answer :————————
i think the product is great. i got the warm palette.
1.) it is defnitely well worth the amount you pay. (it's on a 20% off sale right now!!)
2.) the shadows are smaller than an individual pallette. i mean, there is 88 of them..so if they all came in a normal sized pot, imagine how big the whole pallette would be.
3.) i'm a MAC junkie, and i love the 88pallette…the colors are blendable, very pigmented, and works great!!
4.) i've never heart of bhcosmetics.com – so i'm not sure how that website works. especially with all the creep-os out in the internet world, you don't know who's where – so when i order online, i like to order straight from the source.
back to the whole "how long do they last" – it's obvious that if you use the same color everyday, it's going to disappear a lot quicker. i've had my palette for over 2 weeks, and i use the same highlighter color everyday – and i don't see any metal yet
(idk if that helps on how much there is)
hope you love the product if you get it!!
Beauty Pageant Interview Questions – Expert Tips
by admin on Jan.30, 2010, under Womens Interest
Beauty pageant interview questions can be the most terrifying aspect of any pageant contest. If you ask past and present pageant winners though, they will tell you how important this round is to your chances of winning. Mess it up here, and you\’re never going to win.
The beauty pageant interview questions round is where contestants have their one and only chance to show the judges that they are more than just a pretty face. It\’s the chance to show off ones inner beauty and intelligence. Everything you say in this round will be judged, so it\’s crucial you know what you\’re doing here.
Take this on board: listen and respond. This means, forget everything else around you, and listen purely on what the question is, and then take your time to formulate an answer. Take some time to think about what you\’re going to say. What you don\’t want is to rush your answer and end up stammering and getting your words in a twist.
You need to capture the judges\’ attention, by making your answers as interesting and thought provoking as possible. When the judges ask you a question, you do not want to give a simple yes/no answer, instead, you should be looking to always justify your answers with reasoned response. Eye contact shows confidence too, so look directly at the judges when giving your answers.
So how does one become confident at answering beauty pageant interview questions? Well, practise of course. The more you practise, the better you\’ll become and more prepared you\’ll be when you\’re standing up on stage. The judges can ask you almost anything, ranging from questions about yourself, to your opinions on political and societal issues. Speak honestly here, and not just a politically correct answer.
One tip I can give you in the beauty pageant interview questions round, is to pause before giving your response. Don\’t be afraid of a few seconds silence here. You don\’t want to rush an answer and begin to stutter and get your words in a tangle. Think carefully, and answer calmly and above all with confidence and authority.
You definitely do not want to sound too over rehearsed either. If you sound like a monotone robot, then you\’re not going to attract interest from the judges. You need to make your answers sound off the cuff, which is why pausing for a few seconds is a good idea.
A great tip for the beauty pageant interview questions round is to structure your answers in the same style as an essay. For example, start off with a for and against argument, and then at the end, evaluate what you have said by providing your opinion on the matter.
