What color eye shadows make medium brown eyes pop?
by admin on Mar.27, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
Besides browns I'm bored of them already!
PS: does anyone know of a great mascara besides lashblast and telescopic explosion (i already have those)

I use blackk! I have CG Perfect point plus. It makes my eyes bolder and bigger, but In a cute, girly and good way.
I also use Almay mascara and, my favorite, glitter mascara. I think it's called Rimmel, or something. It look purple but it's really black with sparkles, and the brush is designed in a special way so that it doesn't clump. It works like magic. The wand-top-cap thingy has the words U J L in a pyrmid. Kinda hard to explainn (:
Hope I helped ; )

What colour of eye shadows would you recommend to a person with dark green eyes?
by admin on Mar.03, 2010, under Makeup Q & A
and what colour of lipsticks would go with it?
p.s. I have very white skin, so I'd like colours that'll look good on my skin too.
Thanks a lot.

Earth tones are beautiful colors to play with when you have green eyes. Try mossy and emerald greens, light and dark chocolate brown eyeshadows, Copper is such a gorgeous color, it can really make your eyes 'pop'. To make your eyes look more 'wide and awake' try applying an 'opal' or 'pearl' color in the inner corners of your eyes. (You can also use that same color to highlight your brow bone) Line your eyes with eyeliner (try black or even hunter green) to define, and don't forget the mascara! As far as lipstick goes, depending on the color eyeshadow you wear, I'd wear a very neutral lip color (like a nude or peach) if your eyes are going to be bright and colorful. If you choose to make your eyes look more natural, go for a brighter shade of lipstick. I think if you do a bright lipstick and a bright eyeshadow it clashes too much.
For skin color since you're so fair, you could try a peach or even a very soft pink blush to give your cheeks a flushed look!
